I had a great day volunteering for Pets in the Park! I love helping out in any way to make a change towards my cause, and it is truly amazing to see everyone in this community working together to fundraise and support the animals in need.
Pets in the Park is a very popular event hosted every summer in Saskatoon. It was exciting to see the different breeds of animals that passed by while I was volunteering! The main goal of Pets in the Park is to raise funds for the medical needs of homeless, sick, and injured animals under the care of New Hope Dog Rescue, Saskatoon SPCA, and Street Cat Rescue.
While I was volunteering, I also made a new friend!
This is Dusty who is up for adoption through Street Cat Rescue! He is a little sweetheart with a great personality!
If you haven’t had a chance to attend this amazing event I would definitely recommend checking it out! It’s a great way to spend your afternoon downtown, and your pets will love it! Every donation, big or small, will make a positive impact on animals in need, and thats what truly matters!
