My name is Taylor Markwart and I will be representing Miss Central Saskatchewan! I am honoured to be one of the representatives for our beautiful province we call Saskatchewan! I have always dreamed of being a part of Miss World Canada and having the opportunity to make a difference in society in regards to animal cruelty. Now that my dream has come true, I am very excited for what the future will bring! Since many of you may not know me, I will start off by telling you about myself!
I am 18 years old and I grew up on a farm Southwest of Rosthern, SK. I am currently living in Saskatoon, SK where I am pursuing an Agronomy degree at the University of Saskatchewan. After I finish my degree, I plan to live on an acreage and be a part of a business where I can field scout for farmers and hopefully have some crops of my own!
When I am not working, I am back on the farm helping out with the crops and cattle, spending time with family and my animals, or volunteering at the Saskatoon Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals(SPCA). I love to communicate with others and help out as much as needed, so I always have a busy schedule to keep me on my toes!
Here are some pictures of my fur babies!
I believe the most important thing in life is spending time with family. Without their love and support, I would not be where I am today. My biggest inspirations in my life are my mom and my grandma. They are the most wisest, kind-hearted women I know and I will forever strive to be as amazing as they are.
Having the Central Saskatchewan title has been great! Much of my time consists of communicating with the public including businesses and sponsors for support and raising awareness towards my cause. One of my favourite things about having a title and raising awareness is the new people you meet, and the memories you make!
Thank you for this amazing opportunity and your ongoing support! ♥
